How to Prepare Nongshim Bokkeum Neoguri Instant Noodles
The adorable raccoon-like character is back with his laver friend, this time, for a cup of Nongshim’s Bokkeum Neoguri. I’m glad to see they’re still having one hell of a time together! This edition to the Neoguri Ramen family is a fried version of their original noodles, infused with the soup-less soul of Samyang’s Buldalk Bokkeum-Myeon. I assume the sheer popularity of the Samyang’s Hot Chicken Flavored Ramen prompted Nongshim to apply a similar approach to their other packages of instant noodles. While probably not nearly as lethal, these noodles might be a new fried addition for the masses. I’m looking forward to testing these noodles to see just how well they compare to the original. I think it will be hard to beat…
So, let’s get started. If you’re not sure where to look for the instructions, then I have you covered with today’s fresh, how-to guide!
Step 1.) Open the lid and remove the 2 packets from inside
Step 2.) Boil some water and fill the cup up to the fill line
Step 3.) Close the lid and wait patiently for 4 minutes
Step 4.) Poke holes in the drains
Step 5.) Drain most of the liquid, leaving only a few tablespoons
Step 6.) Add the fried seafood soup packet
Step 7.) Add the pepper flavored oil packet
Step 8.) Mix and Enjoy!
Ta-da! That’s how you make this variation of the famous, Neoguri Ramen. If you’re looking to skip the soup or aren’t a fan of soup time, then this version is probably for you.
So, what do you think of a soup-less Bokkeum Neoguri Ramen? Is this your style or do you prefer the original with plenty of soup? Let me know down in the comments!
