How to Prepare Nongshim U-Yuk Tang Instant Noodles
Nongshim’s U-Yuk Tang, I hear is a clone of Ottogi’s Snackmyeon, in a lot of ways. The gossip around K-town is that both have similar flavors, but U-Yuk Tang is just a touch spicier. I can’t quite vouch for these rumors as I have yet to drop my review. However, at a quick glance, these rumors might actually be true.
U-Yuk Tang is a classically packaged cup of noodles that looks like it’s straight out of the 60’s or 70’s, but in all actuality it was released back in 1989. I guess the artwork on the package was a bit dated then, as it still is today. It should be interesting to try these beef flavored noodles and see if they still taste like they were made over thirty years ago. The initial design and flavor I mean, not this exact cup of noodles. That would be gross… Anyways, here’s how you can make these cow meat inspired noodles.
Step 1.) Partially open the lid and remove the powdered soup packet from inside
Step 2.) Add the powdered soup packet
Step 3.) Boil about 400ml (a little over 1 1/2 cups) of water and fill the cup up to the fill line
Step 4.) Cover the noodles and wait patiently for 3 minutes
Step 5.) Mix and Enjoy!
Another simple cup of instant noodles to create! 5 easy steps was all it took! I’m not quite sure about the quality of the ramen, but simple is better when you’re in hurry and need to grab a quick snack.
