It looks like it’s a meaty flavored classic package of instant ramen for the how-to guide today. Nongshim’s Yukgaejang is an instant take on another traditional Korean dish that features a rich, spicy beef soup that was used to feed royalty. I guess cows were fairly scarce in Korea during those times and not meant for commoners? If you know the answer to this question, let me know down in the comments. Anyways, let’s jump into how to create this elite bowl of instant noodles.

Step 1.) Open the package and remove both the dried flakes and powdered soup packets

Step 2.) Bring 500ml (just over 2 cups) of water to a boil

Step 3.) Add the ramen, dried flakes, and powdered soup packet to the water

This one was pretty simple to make. If you have the cup version of these noodles, it would make a great snack for when you’re on the run. This is usually the case with the more soup focused ramens. Just add all the ingredients together in boiling water. Finished!

Do you prefer seafood instant ramen or beef? Have you tried the traditional version of Yukgaejang? If so, what did you think? Let me know in the comments.
