Is it just me, or does the green laver character on the top of this cup of noodles look like a giant booger? Or, maybe a germ? That’s quite fitting for these corona times. The squid is also looking… VERY phallic, and that might be an understatement. At least it looks like everyone is having a good time under the sea in the cover art for Paldo Palae Tangmyeon. I love it when ramen companies give me some ammo to use against them. It’s always a good time for writing when this happens. Jokes aside, this is actually a fourth place winning cup of instant noodles that debuted on television with an entirely unique flavor to contribute to the already oceanic world of ramen. If Poseidon himself blessed you with this cup of ramen, then here’s how to create some seriously nautical noodles.
Step 1.) Partially open the lid and remove the 2 packets from inside
Step 2.) Pour the powdered soup packet into the cup
Step 3.) Pour the dried flakes into the cup
Step 4.) Boil some water and fill the cup up to the fill line
Step 5.) Close the lid and wait patiently for 3 minutes
Step 6.) Mix and Enjoy!
Once again, an incredibly simple cup of instant noodles to make. I’m finding out quickly that these aren’t your ordinary noodles. They are easy to make, as green as algae, and smell like it too! Check back tomorrow for the review.
So, what do you think about the artwork on the label of this ramen? Do you think the little green guy looks like laver? Or, is he one-hundred percent a booger? Let me know in the comments!
