Samyang’s Buldalk Bokkeum Myeon Jjolbokki is a delicious combination of Ddeokbokki (Normally spelled Tteok-Bokki for some reason…) and Jjolmyeon for people who love that springy and chewy texture.
For those of you that have never heard of ddeokbokki, it is a dish that consists of rice cakes, fish cakes, scallions, etc. that are smothered in a sticky, sweet red chili paste.
Jjolmyeon on the other hand is a specific type of noodles with a chewy texture made from wheat flour and starch.
Samyang has combined these two dishes into one to create their new tasty addition to the Buldalk family. The added sweetness from the ddeokbokki, the springy texture of the jjolmyeon, and spiciness of the infamous Hot Chicken Flavor Noodles is sure to make a well-rounded treat. For today, this cup of noodles is a little bit different from some of the others in terms of preparation, so allow me to give you some assistance.
Step 1.) Tear off the lid completely and remove the 2 packets found inside
Step 2.) Pour the liquid sauce on top of the uncooked instant noodles
Step 3.) Bring some water to a boil and fill the cup up to the fill line
Step 4.) Place the cup in the microwave and cook for 4 minutes and 30 seconds (700 watt)
Step 5.) Remove the cup from the microwave and add the dried flakes packet
Step 6.) Mix and Enjoy!
Things were definitely mixed up today with preparation! What do you think of the methods? Was it really necessary to change things up like that? Let me know down in the comments below.
