Samyang Hot Chicken Flavored Ramen has been all the rage for the past few years in South Korea and around the world. Youtubers, bloggers, and instant ramen enthusiasts have been putting these fiery noodles back cup after cup in an attempt to push their limits of spice tolerance. Samyang’s Buldalk Bokkeum Myeon is the original beast that ignited the current craze for spicy instant noodles. Coming in at about 4,404 SHU (Scoville Heat Units), this cup of noodles will even have seasoned spice veterans reaching for a glass a water. These noodles are no joke. If someone you know hated you enough to gift you a package of these noodles, you’re in for quite the challenge. So, here’s how we can make these blazing hot noodles.
Step 1.) Open the lid slightly and remove the 2 packet from inside
Step 2.) Boil some water and fill the cup up to the fill line
Step 3.) Close the lid and patiently wait for 4 minutes
Step 4.) Poke holes in the designated triangles found on the cup
Step 5.) Drain the water
Step 6.) Add the spicy liquid sauce and mix well
Step 7.) Add the seaweed and sesame topping as a garnish
Step 8.) Enjoy!
That’s all there is to it! Now you can sit back and enjoy these challengingly spicy instant noodles. These are a perfect first step towards the even more challenging and painful noodles by Samyang.
