Normally when I see the name, Samyang, my mind’s eye conjures up images of blazing wildfires or the twin suns of Tatooine. Not the calm and natural images of a cup of Japanese inspired seafood, white soup noodles. Samyang’s Nagasaki Jjambbong is in stark contrast to their other flaming cups of ramen. While these noodles are no slouch in the heat department, they keep it natural with spice coming from habanero peppers and Cheongyang gochu (Korean green chili peppers). None of that near crippling artificial spice made from capsaicin. Packed with seafood flavor and mild-medium level of spiciness, I think these noodles might become a new favorite ramen for many people. Let’s get things started today by making these deliciously flavored seafood noodles.
Step 1.) Partially open the lid and remove the powdered soup packet from inside
Step 2.) Add the powdered soup packet to the cup
Step 3.) Boil some water and fill the cup up to the fill line
Step 4.) Close the lid and wait patiently for 4 minutes
Step 5.) Mix and Enjoy!
Quick and painless! This is one of the simpler cups of noodles to make. I still can’t believe you can make something like this with just 5 easy steps. Amazing! Make sure to check back for the review of this ramen tomorrow.
So, do you prefer to buy the challenging, spicy ramens offered by Samyang or do you prefer something a bit more edible like this cup of noodles? Let me know down in the comments!
