Back again with a South Korean favorite bowl of spicy seafood noodles. YouUs Gonghwachun Samseon Jjambbong is one of the newest cups of instant noodles on the block at a GS25 near you. I’m almost positive these noodles will be a cup of instant jjambbong that will make you full. YouUs has been doing great with their ramens. They have made sure to put as many noodles as possible into that tiny container. Other than a full belly, what I’m looking forward to most is the spicy seafood broth that is always the most important piece of the jjambbong puzzle. Second to this would have to be the seafood, but I’m not counting on a cup of instant noodles to be loaded with seafood. If only that were possible! Well, if you’re here today to make some lovely noodles with the vibe of the sea, let’s jump right in.
Step 1.) Partially open the lid and remove the three packets from inside
Step 2.) Add the powdered soup packet to the cup
Step 3.) Add the jjambbong block
Step 4.) Boil some water and fill the cup up to the fill line
Step 5.) Close the lid and wait patiently for 4 minutes
Step 6.) Add the flavored oil packet
Step 7.) Mix and Enjoy!
Three packets instead of two today! Adding in that last step didn’t take too much more extra time for myself. I hope it adds something special to the flavor… Look at the amount of noodles as well. This cup is looking like it’s going to be a gut buster!
So, do you like noodles in a seafood broth? Have you ever tried authentic jjambbong before? Let me know in the comments!
