Having picked up my latest batch of ramen noodles from my local GS25, we’ve been on a serious YouUs branded ramen roll. Today, I have yet another round of this ramen with YouUS Omori Kimchi Stew Ramen. It looks like it’s going to be one tasty cup of noodles, especially because this one is kimchi jjigae flavored. It also includes a packet of kimchi soup to add to the cup for a more authentic taste. I’m not a big fan of the dehydrated kimchi, so this should work wonders for the overall flavor. So, if you’ve just stopped by your local GS25 or Asian mart to pick up these noodles, you’re in luck, because we’re about to make some!

Step 1.) Partially open the lid and remove the two packets from inside

Step 2.) Add the powdered soup packet to the cup

I don’t know about you, but I’m loving the fresh kimchi coming from that packet. It’s so much better than eating constituted freeze-dried kimchi. I hope it adds some extra punch to the flavor!

So, have you ever tried kimchi stew (kimchi jjigae)? Do you like your kimchi fresh, aged, or both? Let me know in the comments!
