This is round 2 for Teumsae Ramen! Several months ago, I reviewed Paldo’s very own popular rendition, but for today I’m going to introduce you to yet another cup of Teumsae Ramen made by YouUs. YouUs Teumsae Ramen is another company’s spin on this cup of noodles that has a rich and deep red chili pepper flavor. I didn’t know this, but from the looks of the package, the original dish of Teumsae Ramen has been around for quite a while. That makes this cup of ramen an instant twist on a popular classic dish from the 80’s. Speaking from experience, there was no better time than the eighties! So, if you’ve picked up this blast from the past in the shape of a cup of instant noodles, let’s get cooking!

Step 1.) Partially open the lid and remove the packet from inside

Another easy one today! Even more notable was the aroma of red chili pepper powder coming from the powdered soup packet. It was strong! I’m not sure if this one is going to be crazy spicy or not, but I imagine there will be a deep flavor of red chilis. We’ll dive a little bit deeper into this tomorrow with the review.

So, do you prefer Vietnamese red chili peppers or Korean red chili peppers? How about green chilis vs. red chilis? Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
